Community Outreach

Our calling includes three major objectives:

• Providing good-paying jobs with strong benefits in an inclusive, safe environment for individuals who are blind or visually impaired.

• Engaging and educating our community to help make the places we live, work, and play more inclusive for people with disabilities, including blindness.

• Sharing knowledge and tools that increase independence and improve quality of life.

These goals guide everything we do—both inside our organization and throughout the community.

Below are just some of the ways we put our mission into motion.

Blind and Low Vision Store

offers a wide selection of products designed to support independence and everyday living. From talking, Braille, and large-print watches to talking clocks, keychains, magnifiers, 20/20 pens, and talking calculators, we carry tools that make daily tasks more accessible.

We also offer a variety of white canes and replacement tips in multiple styles and sizes. Our knowledgeable storekeeper—who has personal experience using many of these products—is always available to help you find the right solution and ensure everything is set up before you leave. And if we don’t have exactly what you’re looking for, we’ll help you find it.
